György Ligeti's compositions are the spotlight for this exhibition, and from the avant-garde period I discovered and resonated with the composition named "Clocks and Clouds" and I started working with only recycled glass.
I associated sounds with shapes, light and atmosphere specific for the ligetian universe. The clockwork is precise and present in contrast with the diaphanous and irregular shapes of the clouds, all juxtaposed in a circular, layered composition.
The idea of my work is that the viewer's gaze will be carried on the layers of my artwork as listeners are carried on the varied rhythm found in "Clocks and clouds".
